Backing Up Is Hard to DO

Backing up is hard to do ( there's a sound in there some where) when it comes to a lot of things from truck and trailer to computer files and such. This is about the latter as I have a hard time remembering to back  up files and pictures when I have them on my laptop, i will go into the backing up of a B-Train in another post HA HA HA. Anyway the reason for this one is more of a PAS than anything else as I have had the honor of replacing my hard drive in my laptop and lost a few ( over 3 years worth) of pictures and business files. Now all of this is my fault ( I cringed here saying that BTW ) as I did not have any of them on a flash drive and that would have kept them for me, I could also down load them to " the cloud" but more pass words just is not for me either,NOPE just need to back up. Now to the cause of this fine predicament , first was that I did not have a back up power supply that would let me know when I did not have power to my computer, the ones I had needed batteries. This was  a must have when we owned the shop as we lost a few computers to power interruptions while there. Second was I did not have a surge protector in line, this caused a small spike that rendered my main cord NFG and I did not notice it. Now It did flash at me a couple times before I left the poor thing to fend for itself, there all alone on the desk. So when I came back it turned on took a LONG look at the main start up file and bit the big one, right in from of my eye's all the work that I had for the Darren's Garage, pictures and such gone in mili-second. Now thanks to a local business in town they where able to set me up with a new hard drive installed in my laptop and I am up and running again so Here we go, welcome to 2020 and REMEMBER That Backing Up Is NOT That Hard to do ( Not a great tittle but still doable for a hit single ? )
